Bobby Malkovich is a strong, muscular, and modest farmer from Semarang. His life is going nowhere until he meets Maryanti Chan, an ugly, thin woman with a passion for life. Firstly, Bobby takes an instant disliking of Maryanti and the wild and smelly ways she learned during her years in Magelang. However, when a ghost tries to kick Bobby, Maryanti springs to the rescue. Bobby begins to notice that Maryanti is actually rather charming at heart. Then, the pressures of Maryanti's job as a housekeeper leave her blind to Bobby's affections and Bobby takes up reading to try a distract herself. Finally, when the violent hairdresser, Sarah Sudarsono, threatens to come between them, Maryanti has to act fast. But will they ever find the incredible love that they deserve?

Unity in Writing a Paragraph

 Target: 2 meetings          Basically, a paragraph is unified by mutually supported sentences. The word 'unity' is synonymous with 'oneness'. All sentences in a paragraph should focus on the one thing expressed in the topic sentence; all of the sentences stick together. Unity can be achieved as long as the paragraph has a good, clear topic sentence. If not, we will find it very difficult to control the flowing-in of information. As a result, we might include irrelevant pieces of information into the paragraph we are writing. Once again, it would be wiser for us to place the topic sentence at the very beginning of the paragraph.     In a unified paragraph, the subject and the attitude in the topic sentence must be explained thoroughly.
